Great hotel, the rooms are basic but clean, and the shower is spot on. The buffet breakfast is fantastic with a choice of fruit juices,cereals, and all hot English breakfast items. Which is served in a lovely dining area, and we were looked after by the fantastic Alba who looked after all our needs and was very friendly, efficient ,polite, and professional. We were a party of 8 on a golfing trip and we had no complaints. Unfortunately the bar wasn't open as it was being renovated.
Lovely little stay which we had to find literally at the last minute due to a booking error with another hotel. Staff just so lovely and helpful. Service really good. Room immaculately clean (and yes, I do check as though I'm a hotel inspector). Bar wasn't open and looks to be pending a very needed refurbishment as it seems quite dark, dingy and run down. Didn't affect the stay or superb nights sleep on a surprisingly comfortable bed. Breakfast catered for my vegetarian needs and according to my partner the bacon was just delicious! Plenty of it too, with the offer of porridge had we wanted it. Overall a very pleasant stay, would happily book again.
